Dr. Johnson-Wendt grew up in Midland, graduating from H.H. Dow High School in 1979. She joined the Michigan State  Spartan Marching Band in 1979 and  obtained a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Sciences. After graduating from Michigan State University's College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, Dr. Johnson-Wendt opened her own mixed animal clinic in Yale, Mi. She joined Midland Animal Clinic in 1995, returning to her hometown/family to raise her daughter and son. Dr. Johnson-Wendt is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, graduating from the Chi Institute in 2005.  Sue enjoys internal medicine, orthopedics, surgery and client education.  She is also a  member of AVMA and MVMA. Sue is dedicated to the welfare of pets through veterinary medicine. Her hobbies are playing with her grandchildren, riding motorcycles, gardening, camping, caring for orphaned squirrels, and  enjoying her own pet family.
